Section I-6029 - Cessation of BusinessA. Except as provided in §6031 or §6032 of this Chapter, a license shall be immediately null and void if an ambulance service ceases to operate.B. A cessation of business is deemed to be effective as of the date on which the ambulance service stopped offering or providing services to the community.C. Upon the cessation of business, the ambulance service shall immediately return the original license to the department.D. Cessation of business is deemed to be a voluntary action on the part of the ambulance service. The ambulance service does not have the right to appeal a cessation of business.E. Once the ambulance service has ceased doing business, the ambulance service/provider shall not provide services until the provider has obtained a new initial license.La. Admin. Code tit. 48, § I-6029
