Section I-4973 - Personnel PracticesA. The provider must have written employment and personnel policies which include: 1. job descriptions for all positions, including volunteers and students, that specify duties, qualifications, and competencies;2. a description of hiring practices, which includes a policy against discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, handicap, political beliefs, disabled veteran, veteran status or any other nonmerit factor; and3. a description of procedures for: employee evaluation, promotion, disciplinary action, termination, and hearing of employee grievances.B. There must be a written grievance procedure that allows employees to make complaints without fear of retaliation.C. Grievances must be periodically reviewed by the governing body in an effort to promote improvement in these areas.La. Admin. Code tit. 48, § I-4973
