Section I-4623 - License SuspensionA.Unless otherwise provided by federal or state law, the department may impose a suspension of a license if the department determines that the violations committed by the facility pose an imminent or immediate threat to the health, welfare or safety of its resident(s), patient(s), or client(s). B. The sanction of license suspension shall remain in effect until the department determines that the facility is in compliance with the requirements, and has provided notice of compliance and the lifting of the suspension to the facility.C. The imposition or lifting of the suspension does not affect the imposition of other sanctions.D. If the license suspension is reversed during the appeal process, the facility's license will be re-instated or granted upon the payment of any licensing fees, outstanding sanctions or other fees due to the department.La.
