Section I-1511 - Exception to Pre-Movement Staffing PolicyA. Acute treatment of medical or psychiatric illness, when it is reasonable to expect that the classmember will return to his/her previous residential placement, will not require implementation of the procedures outlined in this policy. Should it, however, become evident during the course of acute treatment, that the classmember will require extended medical or psychiatric care or a new residential placement, notification and staffing requirements will be met. Timelines will begin with the time at which a determination is made that the classmember is not likely to return to his/her residential placement within a reasonably predictable period of time.B.
