Section VI-101 - Statement of PolicyA. The rules contained herein are promulgated for the purpose of facilitating implementation of the sports wagering act referred to as the Louisiana Sports Wagering Act, R.S. 27:601 et seq., to achieve the effective regulation of sports wagering, and to maintain the health, welfare, and safety of the public. These considerations shall control the application and interpretation of the rules. Any subsequent restatement, repeal, or amendment of these regulations shall be in accordance with the aforementioned considerations.La. Admin. Code tit. 42, § VI-101
