Section III-313 - Service of Pleadings and DocumentsA. Except where otherwise required by law, on or before the day that a pleading or document is filed with the clerk of court, service of same shall be made by the party who prepared the pleading, upon all other parties, attorneys or designated representatives by hand delivery, mail or electronic transmission, as shown by a certificate of service.B. Unless otherwise provided herein, service by mail or by electronic transmission is effective on the date mailed or transmitted. Personal or domiciliary service is effective when delivered or tendered, even if delivery is refused.C. When a party is represented by an attorney or other designated representative or has appointed an agent for service of process, notice may be given to the party through the attorney, other designated representative or agent.D. Service on a party or person shall be given at the last known physical, postal or electronic address filed into the adjudicatory record.
