Section 94-5-5 - Signatures of parties or counselThe signature of a party or the party's attorney on any pleading shall constitute a certification by the signer of all of the following:
(a) The signer has reviewed the pleading.(b) To the best of the signer's knowledge, information, and belief formed after reasonable inquiry, the pleading is well grounded in fact and is warranted by existing law or a good faith argument for the extension, modification, or reversal of existing law.(c) The pleading is not for any improper purpose, including to harass or cause unnecessary delay or needless increase in costs.Kan.
