Section 4-7-4 - Handling requirements(a) Cooling. All milk shall be cooled to 45° F or less within one hour after milking and shall be maintained at these temperatures until delivery to the con-sumer. (b) Containers. All containers shall be stored in a sanitary place and manner and protected from possible contamination. All bottles, cans, and other multiuse containers shall be thoroughly washed and sanitized before each usage. Kan. Admin. Regs. § 4-7-4
