Section 30-60-55 - Quality improvement program; records(a) Each center shall adopt and adhere to written policies and procedures that provide for a comprehensive quality improvement program designed to continually measure, assess, and improve the quality of the services that are provided by the center, any affiliated center, or any other provider with which the center has an affiliation agreement. These policies and procedures shall require the following: (1) An ongoing means by which the program measures the degree of consumer satisfaction with the services, from consumers who are currently being or who have recently been provided these services by the center, any affiliated center, or any other provider with which the center has an affiliation agreement; (2) an ongoing means of furnishing feedback to the staff that provides those services with regard to each consumer's satisfaction or dissatisfaction; and (3) procedures that ensure that information gathered or generated by the center's risk management program, required by K.A.R. 30-60-56, and the center's utilization management program, required by K.A.R. 30-60-57, is available to and utilized by the center's quality improvement program. (b) Records that demonstrate the center's compliance with this regulation shall be centrally maintained for at least five years. Kan. Admin. Regs. § 30-60-55
