Section 30-5-85 - Scope of independent laboratory services

The services of independent laboratories shall be available to program recipients if:

(a) the laboratory has been certified by medicare to perform the services;

(b) the laboratory is independent from the office of the ordering physician; and

(c) the laboratory services are prescribed.
