Section 1-8-2 - Orientation
(a) Each appointing authority shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining a program of orientation for new employees.
(b) Each orientation shall be relevant to each of the following:
(1) That agency's mission, vision, and goals;
(2) the employee's job responsibilities;
(3) employee benefits; and
(4) other aspects of the workplace pertinent to successful performance in the position.
(c) Any agency may supplement the orientation information required above with specific agency materials.
(d) This regulation shall be effective on and after June 5, 2005.
