Rule 650-29.12 - ACC

(1) The ACC shall be chaired by a member of the board and shall include at least six additional members who are licensed to practice dentistry in Iowa. At least four members of the ACC shall hold deep sedation/general anesthesia or moderate sedation permits issued under this chapter.

(2) The ACC shall perform the following duties:

a. Review all permit applications and take action as authorized.

b. Perform peer reviews as needed and report the results to the board.

c. Other duties as delegated by the board.
