Rule 641-73.14 - State monitoring of contract agencies

The department shall review contract agency operations through use of reports and documents submitted, state-generated data processing reports, and on-site visits for evaluation and technical assistance.

(1)On-site visits. Department staff shall visit contract agencies whenever necessary, to review operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

(2)Request for written reports. The department may request written progress reports from contract agencies within specified times.

(3)Qualifications of department reviewers. At minimum, one of the persons from the department responsible for reviewing a contract agency shall be a licensed dietitian.
