Rule 495-14.2 - Survival into first month of entitlement

When amember who has filed an application for retirement benefits and has survived into the first month of entitlement dies prior to the issuance of the first benefit check, IPERS will pay the death benefit allowed under the retirement option elected by the member in the application for retirement benefits.
