Rule 441-85.21 - Conditions for participation

Psychiatric medical institutions for children shall be issued a license by the department of inspections and appeals under Iowa Code chapter 135H and shall hold either a license from the department of human services under Iowa Code section 237.3, subsection 2, paragraph"a, " subparagraph (3) or, for facilities which provide substance abuse treatment, a license from the department of public health under Iowa Code section 125.13.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 135H.4 and 249A.4.
