Rule 21-44.53 - New fertilizer or soil conditioner storage site location

New permanent storage sites as defined in rule 21-44.51 (200) shall be selected in accordance with the requirements of the Iowa department of natural resources. The new site, if located in a floodplain, shall be protected from inundation from floods. New permanent fertilizer and soil conditioner storage sites shall be located at a minimum of 400 feet from public water supply wells or below ground level finished water storage facilities and a minimum of 150 feet from private water supply wells.
