Sec. 2.
(a) Section 4 of this rule establishes the curriculum for cosmetologist training.(b) Section 5 of this rule establishes the curriculum for manicurist training.(c) Section 7 of this rule establishes the curriculum for electrologist training.(d) Section 7.1 of this rule establishes the curriculum for esthetician training.(e) Section 7.2 of this rule establishes the curriculum for instructor training.(f) In sections 4 through 7.2 of this rule: (1) the first column in each section states the subject matter of training;(2) the second column lists the number of hours required in classroom theory training and demonstration practice;(3) the third column lists the number of hours of actual practice required for each student; and(4) the fourth column lists the total number of hours of training required in each subject.(g) The hours required in classroom theory training identified in subsection (f) are defined as a systematically organized knowledge of a system of facts, accepted principles, laws, and rules of procedure devised to:(4) demonstrate; the nature of a particular subject matter of training. Such a system is distinguished from actual practice.
