Sec. 18.
(a) The standards used in determining the income eligibility of an applicant or recipient under sections 17 and 20 of this rule are as follows: (1) Individual standard, four hundred seventy dollars ($470).(2) Couple standard, seven hundred five dollars ($705).(3) Nonapplicant or nonrecipient dependent child standard, two hundred thirty-five dollars ($235).(4) Applicant or recipient dependent child standard, four hundred seventy dollars ($470).(5) Essential person standard, two hundred thirty-five dollars ($235).(6) One (1) parent standard, four hundred seventy dollars ($470).(7) Two (2) parent standard, seven hundred five dollars ($705).(8) Stepparent standard, two hundred thirty-five dollars ($235).(b) Beginning in calendar year 1997, the income standards specified in subsection (a) shall increase annually in the same percentage amount that is applied to Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits under 42 U.S.C. 1382(f).
