Section 105 IAC 7-1-28 - Term of permit; extension; cancellation

Sec. 28.

All work on highway right-of-way authorized by a permit must be completed within one (1) year after the permit is issued; otherwise, the permit will be cancelled unless an extension is requested, in writing, by the permittee, and is approved by the department. The time extension shall not exceed more than one (1) year beyond the original expiration date unless approved otherwise by the department. If a permit is cancelled, a new application must be submitted and approved before the proposed work can begin. Once construction authorized by the permit is initiated it must be completed within thirty (30) days, unless otherwise expressly approved as a special condition.
