Section 1000.465 - Connections to the Potable Water Supplya) General: Potable water supply lines shall not be connected to process water lines, chemical lines or equipment, unless proper backflow protection is installed.b) Water service lines that connect a cultivation center to a community public water supply shall include either a reduced pressure principle backflow preventer or a fixed proper air gap, in accordance with 35 Ill. Adm. Code 653.803(c)(4).c) Water service lines that connect a cultivation center to a potable water supply other than a community public water supply shall include either a reduced pressure principle backflow preventer or a fixed proper air gap, in accordance with the Illinois Plumbing Code.d) Installation, maintenance and inspection of backflow prevention devices shall be carried out in accordance with 35 Ill. Adm. Code 651 and 653 or the Illinois Plumbing Code, whichever is applicable.Ill. Admin. Code tit. 8, § 1000.465
