Section 910.60 - Continuancesa) The Appellant may, for good cause, request a continuance of the hearing. Said request shall be in writing and shall set forth the grounds alleged therefore. Oral requests will not be considered, unless made at the hearing for good cause shown.b) If good cause is shown, the hearing will be rescheduled and all parties notified by the hearing officer.c) Good cause is shown when it is demonstrated that a party or party's attorney has a real and compelling need for additional time; for example, in the case of serious illness or family death.Ill.
