The purpose of the Coal to Solar and Energy Storage Initiative Fund Grant Program is to support installation of energy storage facilities at the sites of up to 3 qualifying electric generating facilities located in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc., region in Illinois and the sites of up to 2 qualifying electric generating facilities located in the PJM Interconnection, LLC region in Illinois that meet the criteria set forth in20 ILCS 3855/1-75 (c-5)(10)(C) and in this Part [20 ILCS 3855/1-75 (c-5)(10)(C)].
