These rules protect the integrity of the public assistance programs by identifying instances of fraud, abuse, and other misconduct by providers and their employees, participants, and by providing that appropriate action is taken to correct the problem. Nothing contained within this chapter will limit the Department from taking any other action authorized by law, including seeking damages under Section 56-227B, Idaho Code.
