Section 16.04.18.515 - ASSESSMENTS01.Preadmission Assessment. Preadmission assessments must be done for each child by a qualified treatment professional familiar with the outdoor program prior to enrollment. This must include a review of the child's social and psychological history.02.Subsequent Assessments. Subsequent assessments must be done before the child leaves for the field portion away from the main base of operations. The assessment must include: a. An interview with the child by the senior field staff assigned to the child's field experience; andb. A review of the child's health history and physical examination by a medically trained field staff assigned to the child's field experience.03.Psychological Problems. For a child with a history of psychological problems, a psychological evaluation must be obtained and reviewed by the multidisciplinary team prior to the child's entrance into the field portion.Idaho Admin.
