The property, structure, premises, and furnishings of an adoptive home must be constructed and maintained in good repair, in a clean condition, free from safety hazards and dangerous machinery and equipment. Areas and equipment that present a hazard to children must not be accessible by children. The safety requirements must be consistent with IDAPA 16.06.02, "Foster Care Licensing," and may require that additional safety rules be met if the agency deems appropriate.
