Organizations must ensure and document the child has had a dental exam within the last nine (9) months or a dental exam within three (3) months of admission. An annual dental exam and necessary dental treatment, including prophylaxis, extraction, repair and restoration will be provided as ordered by the dentist. Dental care will be provided for a child under the age of three (3) when the child's dental needs indicate.
