Section 16.03.09.602 - SCREENING MAMMOGRAPHIES: COVERAGE AND LIMITATIONS

01.Screening Mammographies. Align with the "A" and "B" recommendations of the United States Preventative Services Taskforce.

02.Diagnostic Mammographies. Are not subject to the limitations of screening mammographies. Diagnostic mammographies are covered when a physician or licensed practitioner of the healing arts orders the procedure for a participant of any age.
