An organization, licensed without restriction to provide EMS in another state and not restricted from operating in Idaho by the EMS Bureau, may provide EMS in Idaho within the limits of its license without an Idaho EMS license only when the organization meets one (1) of the following:
01.Interstate Compact with Idaho. The organization holds an EMS license in another state where an interstate compact specific to EMS agency licensure with Idaho is in effect.02.Emergency, Natural, or Man-made Disaster. The organization is responding to an emergency, or a natural or man-made disaster, declared by federal, state, or local officials and the services of the organization are requested by an entity of local or state government in Idaho.03.Transfer of Patient From Out-of-State Medical Facility. The organization is transferring a patient from an out-of-state medical facility: a. To a medical facility in Idaho. The organization may return the patient to the point of origin; orb. Through the state of Idaho.04.Transport of Patient From Out-of-State Emergency Scene. The organization is transporting a patient:a. From an out-of-state emergency scene to a medical facility in Idaho; orb. To a rendezvous with another ambulance.Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.01.03.101
