Section 4-8-28 - Assumption of indebtedness

Assumption of indebtedness may be considered if the person which proposes to assume the indebtedness is eligible under section 155-10, Hawaii Revised Statutes. The maker of the note cannot be released on the assumption of the indebtedness by others.
