Section 19-142-3 - Inspection and certification of vehicles(a) The following classes of vehicles shall be inspected and certified once every twelve months: (1) All buses and school buses;(2) Passenger carrying vehicles, including limousines and tour vehicles;(3) Trucks, truck-tractors, trailers, semitrailers, and pole trailers having a gross vehicle weight rating of more than ten thousand pounds; and(4) Car rental transport vehicles(b) All ambulances shall be inspected and certified once every six months.[Eff 10/29/2015] (Auth: HRS § 286-209) (Imp: HRS § 286-209)
