Section 11-45-150 - Release of patients containing radiopharmaceuticals or permanent implants

A licensee shall not authorize release from confinement for medical care any patient administered a radiopharmaceutical or administered a permanent implant until the dose rate from the patient at the time of release shall not result in a total effective dose equivalent exceeding five hundred millirems (five millisieverts) to any other individual during complete decay of the radionuclide.
