(1) A military spouse or spouse of a transitioning service member, as defined in O.C.G.A. § 43-1-34, is deemed eligible to apply for an expedited licensure process by endorsement if the applicant: (a) Has submitted a complete application along with a fee in the amount established by the Board;(b) Is a spouse of a service member or transitioning service member stationed within this state;(c) Holds a current license to practice as an athletic trainer in another state for which the training, experience, and testing are substantially similar in qualifications and scope to the requirements under this state; and(d) Is in good standing in such other state.(2) The applicant must submit verification of each license held in another state.(3) The Board may request further verification of any credential submitted to prove military service of the spouse who is serving in or transitioning out of the military.(4) Nothing contained in this Code section shall be construed to invalidate, override, or amend any licensing compact entered into by the State of Georgia.Ga.
