Rule 506-3-.06 - Petition for a Rule(1)General. Any interested person may petition the Commission requesting the promulgation, amendment, or repeal of a rule. The petition shall be submitted in writing to the Executive Director at the offices of the Commission.(2)Form of Petition. The petition need not follow any particular form. The petition should be clearly designated "Petition for Promulgation, Amendment, or Repeal of a Rule," shall state the nature of the request, the reasons for the request, and have the name, address and signature of the person making the request.(3)Consideration and Disposition. The Executive Director shall review the petition and develop a proposed response. The petition and proposed response shall be submitted to the Executive Committee which shall rule on the petition. Within 30 days after submission of a petition, the Executive Committee shall either deny the petition in writing, stating its reasons for the denial, or shall initiate rule-making proceedings in accordance with the Georgia Administrative Procedure Act.Ga.
