Rule 267-11-.04 - The General Scope and Purpose of the Grant Program

To comply with the federal court's order to provide restitution to the State's citizens through energy and transportation related programs, this program was approved by the U.S. Department of Energy to provide grants to local governments or non-profit agencies for the purpose of establishing or expanding ride share or individual drive programs to assist welfare recipients in programs to escape welfare or low-income persons by the way of an enhanced transportation program.
