Rule 125-1-1-.02 - Authority

The Board of Corrections, which is charged with the responsibility for establishing the general policy to be followed by the Department of Corrections, shall appoint the Commissioner of the Department of Corrections. The Board is authorized to promulgate, adopt and establish rules and regulations for the administration of the Department of Corrections and County penal institutions which are placed under Board control.
