Rule 111-8-7-.18 - Sanitation and Waste Disposal(1) The center shall maintain sanitary conditions throughout the premises. This shall include the water supply, sewerage, and solid waste disposal systems. Such facilities shall meet local and State regulations.(2) All garbage, trash and waste shall be stored and disposed of in a manner that will not permit the transmission of disease, create a nuisance, or provide a breeding place for insects or rodents.(3) Obstetrical wastes and contaminated materials shall be disposed of by incineration or other means acceptable to the Department.(4) Effective means shall be provided at all outside doors, windows and other openings to the center to prevent the entrance and harborage of flies, other insects and rodents.Ga.
