Section 69A-21.402 - Criteria for Recognition by the State Fire Marshal as a "Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory" for Portable Fire Extinguishers or Pre-engineered Systems(1) The applicant testing laboratory shall comply in general with the definitions and requirements contained in subsection 69A-3.009(9), F.A.C., and 29 CFR 1910.7, dated July 1, 1992, which is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference.(2) The applicant laboratory shall maintain a follow-up inspection program to confirm that the manufacturer is providing the controls, inspections, and tests necessary to assure that all current manufactured extinguishers will meet the laboratory's testing standards. This follow-up inspection shall occur no less than once each six months for the first two years and once each year thereafter.Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 69A-21.402
