Section 63M-2.053 - Lice (Pediculosis) and Scabies(1) All facilities shall conduct evaluation, identification, treatment, and containment of pediculosis (lice) or mites (scabies), including product-specific treatment and environmental control practices.(2) Treatment protocols and facility procedures shall be developed and approved by the Designated Health Authority regarding lice and scabies.(3) Orders and/or plans of care for multiple youth provided by a County Health Department may be substituted for facility procedures during a lice or scabies outbreak or to reduce the possibility of an outbreak.Fla.
