Section 62-330.487 - General Permit to the Department and Water Management Districts to Change Operating Schedules for Water Control Structures(1) A general permit is granted to the Department and Districts to change the operating schedules for existing water control structures that are owned or operated by the Department or District when such changes are for environmental restoration or enhancement.(2) The Department or the District Governing Board, as applicable, shall hold at least one public meeting concerning the proposed operating schedule prior to its approval.(3) When the activity under this general permit is to be conducted by the Department, the Department shall provide the notice to the appropriate District.(4) When the activity under this general permit is to be conducted by a District, the District shall provide the notice to the appropriate Department office.Fla.
