Whenever a Principal vacancy occurs the Superintendent of Schools may laterally transfer another Principal to fill that vacancy.
In addition, the Superintendent of Schools shall have the authority to effect the reassignment of any school officer when the Superintendent deems it to be in the best interests of the school system.
The Superintendent shall inform the Board of Education in writing fifteen (15) days prior to the reassignment of any school officer.
The Superintendent upon request of any member of the Board of Education shall meet with the Committee of the Whole to discuss the pending reassignment of any school officer.
