The Department shall assign each Program participant to a navigator who is either a Department employee or works for a designated external service provider.
The head of household shall meet with the household's assigned navigator at least once per month to review progress towards career and household goals and ensure that the household is connected to appropriate services based on its needs.
Navigators shall be responsible for trying to maintain contact with assigned Program participants and reporting a Program participant's noncompliance with the monthly meeting requirement to the Department or its designee.
A navigator shall report a Program participant's non-compliance with meeting requirements to the Department or its designee if the head of household:
The Department or its designee shall, upon receiving notification of noncompliance from a navigator, make efforts to engage and assist the head of household in becoming compliant with the monthly meeting requirement by making at least three (3) attempts within a month through at least two (2) different methods to contact the head of household using the Program participant's last known contact information.
The Department or its designee shall document the steps it took to help the head of household re-engage with the navigator.
The Department may temporarily waive monthly meeting requirements at its discretion for good cause.
