Rule 25-C900 - SERVICE OF PROCESS - NOTICE, PROPER METHODS900.1 A notice issued in accordance with these regulations shall be deemed properly served if it is served by one (1) of the following methods:
(a) A Department representative, a law enforcement officer, or a person authorized to serve a civil process, personally services the notice to the licensee, or the person operating a swimming pool, spa pool, or sauna without a license;(b) The Department sends the notice to the last known address of the licensee or person operating a swimming pool, spa pool, or sauna without a license, in accordance with Section 205 of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs Civil Infractions Act of 1985, effective October 5, 1985 (D.C. Law 6-42; D.C. Official Code § 2-1802.05 (2012 Repl.)), or by other public means so that a written acknowledgment of receipt may be acquired; or(c) In accordance with the Office of Administrative Hearings Rules of Practice and Procedure in Section 2811, Title 1 DCMR, as amended.D.C.
