Rule 17-9504 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDICATION AIDE CERTIFICATION
9504.1

An applicant for certification as an MA-C shall:

(a) Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;
(b) Provide evidence of having passed the Natio nal Council of Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) Medication Aide Certification Examination (MACE) and of satisfactory performance of nursing related services for a minimum of one (1) year;
(c) Meet the requirements of § 9503;
(d) Submit a completed application and application fee to the Board; and
(e) Submit any other documents that may be required by the Board.
9504.2

An application that remains incomplete for ninety (90) days or more from the date of submission may be considered abandoned and may be closed by the Board. The applicant shall thereafter be required to reapply, comply with the current requirements for certification, and pay the required fees.
