Section 21a-408-65 - Dispensary, producer, laboratory and research program reportable events(a) A dispensary, producer, laboratory or research program shall immediately notify appropriate law enforcement authorities and the Drug Control Division upon becoming aware of any: (1) discrepancies identified during inventory;(2) diversion, theft, loss, or unauthorized destruction of any marijuana product; or(3) loss or unauthorized alteration of records related to marijuana, qualifying patients or research subjects.(b) A dispensary, producer, laboratory or research program shall provide the notice required by subsection (a) of this section to the department by way of a signed statement which details the circumstances of the event, including an accurate inventory of the quantity and brand names of marijuana diverted, stolen, lost, destroyed or damaged and confirmation that the local law enforcement authorities were notified. A dispensary, producer, laboratory or research program shall make such notice no later than twenty-four hours after discovery of the event.(c) A dispensary, producer, laboratory or research program shall notify the Drug Control Division no later than the next business day, followed by written notification no later than ten business days, of any of the following: (1) An alarm activation or other event that requires response by public safety personnel;(2) A breach of security;(3) The failure of the security alarm system due to a loss of electrical support or mechanical malfunction that is expected to last longer than eight hours; and(4) Corrective measures taken, if any.(d) A dispensary, laboratory, research program and producer shall maintain and shall make available all documentation related to an occurrence that is reportable pursuant to subsections (a) to (c), inclusive, of this section in accordance with section 21a-408-72 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.Conn.
