Section 11-24b-1 - DefinitionsThe definitions in Connecticut General Statutes, Section 11-24a, as amended shall apply to Sec. 11-24b-2 through 11-24b-3. The following definitions also apply:
(a) "Contract library" means the principal public library in another town which has been designated by contract with a town without public library service to provide service for that town's residents and has been designated as that town's principal public library.(b) "Total Population" of a town means that enumerated in the 1980 Federal Decennial Census of Population.Conn.
