Section 1.07 - Post-hearing(1)Briefs. The Presiding Officer may set a schedule for the filing of briefs to be submitted by parties and limited participants. The purpose of briefs is to allow parties and limited participants to provide written argument based on the evidence properly entered into the record. Briefs also may be used to address specific briefing questions posed by the Presiding Officer. Briefs may not be used to submit new evidence.(2)Oral Arguments. Oral argument at the close of a hearing may, upon motion, be allowed at the discretion of the Presiding Officer.(3)Other Post Hearing Filings. No post-hearing filings other than those allowed for in 980 CMR 1.07(1) may be made without the permission of the Presiding Officer.
