Section 10.071 - Landfill Discharge Permit Requirements(1) No Person who is the owner and/or operator of a Landfill, or who is otherwise responsible for the Landfill, shall discharge or cause or allow to be discharged, directly or indirectly, into the Authority's Sewerage System any Landfill Leachate, unless the discharge complies with a Landfill Discharge Permit issued by the Authority for the Landfill.(2) The Authority shall not issue a Landfill Discharge Permit, unless the Landfill has all necessary approvals from DEP and the local Board of Health, and the Municipality in which the Landfill is located has certified that the local conveyance system has sufficient capacity to meet peak dry weather flow and the reasonable future needs of the Municipality. In granting or denying a Landfill Discharge Permit, the Authority may determine whether the Authority conveyance system has sufficient capacity to meet peak dry weather flow and the reasonable future needs of serviced communities.Amended by Mass Register Issue 1399, eff. 9/6/2019.
