The Board may waive the continuing education requirements of 233 CMR 3.01 for a registered chiropractor who submits written proof satisfactory to the Board that he or she was prevented from meeting that continuing education requirement because of illness or other unforeseeable emergency, extreme hardship, or other good and sufficient reason deemed adequate by the Board. A chiropractor seeking a waiver must submit the request for a waiver and receive written notice that the waiver has been granted by the Board prior to the time the licensee applies for license renewal.
