Section 274.08 - Transportation Network Vehicle Requirements(1) A TNC shall issue a Division-approved removable decal or trade dress to a Driver before the Driver provides Services. The Driver shall apply the removable decal or trade dress to the front and back panels of the Vehicle at all times while the Vehicle is used to provide Services. The removable decal or trade dress must be reflective, illuminative or otherwise visible at night or in low-light environments.(2) A Driver who ceases to be authorized to provide Services for any reason shall return the decal or trade dress to the respective TNC within 14 business days.(3) Every Vehicle shall receive an annual inspection pursuant to M.G.L. c. 90, § 7A. Vehicles registered in another state shall comply with the inspection requirements of that state.(4) Every Vehicle shall comply with the insurance requirements set forth in M.G.L. c. 175, § 228.Adopted by Mass Register Issue 1348, eff. 9/22/2017.
