Each hazardous fluid cargo transfer system shall be inspected before every use to verify that the valves and controls are in their proper operating position. Transfer operations shall allow time for proper cool down of piping and equipment. If any unusual pressure or temperature variations occur, transfer shall be stopped, as soon as safely possible, until the cause has been determined and corrected. Pressure readings shall be observed during LNG, propane, or refrigerant cargo transfer operations.
